How to apply for the student visa

1. Admission to an educational institution

• you first need an official invitation or offer of admission

• confirmation from the French educational institution is mandatory

2. Registration and submitting your application

• the visa application is completed online

• you then book a submission appointment at the visa application centre

3. Submitting documents

Documents are submitted through visa application centres accredited by France in your country of application.

• you submit your documents and biometrics in person

• the documents are forwarded to the French consulate for a decision
